Northview Titans Junior Varsity Girls Game Summaries

Northview v. North Springs - 7-1
March 3rd

The JV Girls team traveled to North Springs High School to play the Lady Spartans. Northview won 7 - 1.

Offensively the Lady Titans took care of business by scoring quickly and often in the first half. Ali Clark had 4 goals, Erica Valencia had two goals and Amy McDonald scored 1 goal. By halftime the Lady Titans were up 6 - 1.

On defense the Lady Titans were almost perfect. North Springs scored their only goal with 12:05 remaining in the first half. The defense played a great game holding the ball at the Spartans half of the field for most of the game. Camryn Wagster, Rachel Wilson, Haley Nelson, Julia Stephens and Taylor Deadrick all played well.

In the second half, the Lady Spartans had a break away to the goal, but stopped by Rachel Wilson.

Haley Nelson and Laura Vayhinger took on the duties of the corner kicks and some beautiful attempts to score, but fell short. Jillian English, the Titan Keeper saw a considerable amount of action.

All in all a great game for the Lady Titan's JV team.
