Congratulations to Jeff Degen
Congratulations to Junior midfielder Jeff Degen who was part of the 93 Georgia ODP team that won the 2010 US Youth Soccer ODP Championship in Phoenix, Arizona, March 11-14. Team Georgia defeated the defending champion California South 1-0.
Eric Carrion Signs with UNC at Greensboro
The Northview Titans would like to congratulate Eric Carrion on signing a National Letter of Intent with the University of North Carolina at Greensboro . Eric has played all four years as a Northview Titan. Eric played USSF Development Soccer at Atlanta Fire United and more recently ODP and Region III RPL with Alpharetta Ambush club teams. Eric was honored by being selected as part of the Starting XI from USSF Academy Southeast Conference U-15/16 and playing the US Region III ODP Soccer Event in Buenos Aires , Argentina. Northview Titans wish Eric well playing for the University of North Carolina at Greensboro Spartans.
Jason Scannella Signs with Limestone College
Jason has signed a National Letter of Intent to play soccer with Limestone College in South Carolina. Jason has played Varsity Soccer for Northview for three years and is a captain this year. He has played for Atlanta Fire United for the majority of his club soccer career. He was a member for the USSF Academy team at AFU, along with their Super Y team and captained a team that played internationally in Costa Rica. As a Limestone Saint, he will be in the Honors Program.
Stephen Dunbar Commits to Stevens Institute of Technology
The Northview Titans would like to congratulate Stephen Dunbar who signed with Steven Institue of Technology. Stephen played living abroad in Hong Kong playing with Tai Tam Tigers Soccer Club and Hong Kong International School. After his move back to Atlanta, Stephen joined Atlanta Fire United where he played on the U16 National Development Academy team and is now playing on the AFU U18 National Development Academy team. Stephen played JV soccer at Northview his freshman year and received the Top Offensive Player Award. Stephen has played varsity soccer since 10 th grade.
Stephen has committed to play soccer at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ and will be studying engineering. Stephen is one of only five new recruits for the 2010 season. The Northview Titans wish Stephen well playing for Stevens Institute of Technology.
Taylor Yee Signs with GCSU
The Northview Titans would like to congratulate Taylor Yee on signing a National Letter of Intent with Georgia College and State University . Taylor has played all four years as a Lady Titan and has won several academic and athletic awards while at Northview. Taylor played for Alpharetta Ambush and more recently ODP and Region III RPL with NASA (North Atlanta Soccer Association) club teams. Northview wishes Taylor well as a GCSU Bobcat.
