Northview Titans Varsity Girls Game Summaries

Northview v. Milton - 2-2
February 15th

The Lady Titans played the Milton Lady Eagles on a foggy/wet evening. The Lady Titans scored 1st with a beautiful goal chipped over the Milton Keeper. Emily Dixon scored for the Titans and was assisted by Jen Gornall. During the 1st half the Lady Titans kept at it with more shots by Dixon and Gornall and Meredith Kaywood. The Titan Keeper Whitney Ernst made several saves to keep the Lady Titans lead.

In the 2nd half Amy Libardi had a nice bending shot in the upper 90 from the 18 yard line to score for the Titans putting them to a 2-0 lead.

Keeper Whitney Ernst continued keeping the ball out of the net for the Titans.

With 9 minutes left, Milton scored on a deflection of a save attempt by Ernst and scored again with 4 minutes to end in a 2-2 tie. Great Job Ladies!
